My name is Julia Storch and I’m from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Davidson College with a degree in English and Film & Media Studies. I’ve been an insatiable reader since being given my first picture book and to work with language for the rest of my life would be the best future I could imagine. I enjoy a large variety of genres, from classics to contemporary, but I tend to stick to novels. Occasionally I’ll try my own hand at creative writing; an outlet that I find rewarding for both its limitations and vast freedom. Some time in high school I became obsessed with television shows – if you could name it, I’d watched it. Since TV and writing are my two passions, I want to work in a career where I can utilize both.
Besides studying literature and film theory, I’m also a casual soccer fan and an exercise enthusiast. I love traveling and pretending to be knowledgeable about craft beer.
